Reflectors make up approximately 1% of the population.
Priya is a rare bird, ever-changing like the moon.
meet a reflector
Her exquisite sensitivity to her environment and the world around her feels like a super-power at times, an overwhelming liability at others. She is a true chameleon. She sees right through to the truth of the situation and can’t help but mirror the health (or dysfunction) of whatever environment she finds herself in.
Waiting a full lunar cycle
In the Human Design universe, all energy types are solar beings except the lunar Reflectors like Priya. Because of the openness of her design she needs time to make decisions—a whole moon cycle is ideal—and hates to be rushed. She is a mirror helping all of us see ourselves more clearly.
Disappointed and conforming
Before understanding her design, she felt that she could only find love and acceptance by masking her sensitivity and chameleonic nature. She felt she had to toughen up, choose a lane, and stick with it. Shutting down her true nature led to disappointment, fear and an ever-deepening sense of disconnection. The longer she silenced her inner guidance the more she became sick, trapped in unhealthy scenarios, and generally disappointed with life.
Deconditioning
Priya embarked on the journey of returning to her true self and innate guidance system. She began to embrace the mystery of life and her ever-changing self. She positioned herself in the center of a healthy community with strong and loving boundaries and she began to thrive. She embraced her reflective, mirroring, revelatory energy. She was honored for the sacred and vital role she plays by her community.
Surprise and delight: a reflector’s true north
She spends her days surprised at every turn, full of joy, and savoring the newness that change brings.
